Tools & Materials Needed
1. 10.25" Android Unit: Ensure it’s i8-compatible (OEM has NBT & EVO system) .

Installation Steps
Step 1: Prep the Vehicle
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid electrical shorts .
-Protect dash/steering wheel with microfiber cloths to prevent scratches during disassembly .
 
Step 2: Remove the Factory Head Unit
1. Pry off trim panels around the iDrive screen and climate controls using plastic tools.
Focus on seams near vents and cup holders .
2. Unbolt the OEM screen:
- Remove 4 screws securing the stock display (typically 7–10mm sockets) .
- Disconnect cables gently — note their positions for reassembly.

Step 3: Install the Android Unit
1. Mount the new screen:
- Secure the 10.25" display into the OEM bracket. Most units fit flush without cutting .
2. Connect wiring:

- Route GPS/4G antennas to A-pillars (left/right separation reduces interference) .
3. Integrate USB/aux:
